As we talked about last Sunday, Texans on Mission is one of the ministries HCF is grateful to support. For nearly 60 years, they have served people in times of crisis while sharing the hope of Christ through practical, hands-on ministry.

This Thursday from 2:00–3:30 PM, you’re invited to visit their Dallas facility for an open house and see firsthand the work they do locally, across Texas, and around the world.

Plan on the tour taking about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the group size and how the discussion goes along the way.

Part of the tour will take you through a working warehouse. It can be pretty warm—maybe even hot—so dress accordingly. They also ask that everyone wear closed-toed shoes while in the warehouse.

When completing the registration, please select Dixon Building for the building entrance. Having each person register individually ahead of time will help them check everyone in and have it so each visitor has their name printed on their badge.

If you have trouble completing the registration, no worries—just go! They'll be happy to check you in when you arrive.

When you arrive, go through the main office area and through the glass doors of the Dixon Building. If you have any questions or need anything before Thursday, please call 940-445-5764.

The HCF Children’s Ministry is a place where kids from nursery through 6th grade discover the truth of God’s Word and learn what it means to follow Jesus—and you can be part of it! We’re looking for volunteers who want to help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for our children on Sunday mornings. Whether you enjoy holding babies, helping with games, leading a Bible discussion, or simply encouraging kids as they grow in faith, there’s a place for you. Our small classes make it easy to connect personally and make a difference. Come help us launch kids into a lifetime of discipleship!

Registration for our fall women’s Bible study is now closed, and we’re looking forward to beginning this journey together!

How do we stay faithful when the road ahead feels steep and uncertain? Where do we find help, hope, and joy along the way? This fall, we’ll explore these questions together in an 11-week study through The Psalms of Ascents: Psalms 120–134 by Lydia Brownback.

Walking verse by verse through these fifteen sacred songs, we’ll reflect on God’s character and discover deep gospel connections as we explore themes of worship, thanksgiving, trust, hope, and joy.

These ancient songs strengthened and encouraged Israel as they journeyed toward Jerusalem and the presence of God. They still give voice today to our joys and fears, longings and disappointments, while providing words of prayer and praise for our own journey toward our heavenly home.

We look forward to coming alongside one another as we reflect, rejoice, and remember that life is a spiritual journey toward God—and we don’t have to walk it alone.

Remember - the study begins Monday evening, September 14, with Tuesday morning groups beginning September 15.
The Christian life has often been described as a journey—a pilgrimage of faith as we learn to follow Jesus and grow in Christlikeness. This fall, our Thursday morning Bible study will explore that journey through the Psalms of Ascent, Psalms 120–134.

These psalms were traditionally associated with worshipers making their way to Jerusalem. They speak to many of the experiences we encounter in our own walk with Christ—times of joy and struggle, dependence and trust, worship and obedience. As we study them together, we’ll consider how these ancient songs can encourage and challenge us as disciples of Jesus today.

We will begin our study on Thursday, September 10th. We invite you to join us as we spend time in God’s Word, learn from one another, and seek to grow together in Christlikeness.

If you haven’t been involved in our Thursday morning studies before, this is a great opportunity to jump in. Come join us as we begin this journey through the Psalms of Ascent together.
